This is an illusion. Think about it this way. The mind is limited, it only experiences information via the 5 senses. Taste. Touch. Smell. Sound. Sight. The mind is rooted in this physical reality. It is limited in what it knows. Wouldn't you agree? Can you assume there are things that you do not yet know that you do not know?
