Join us for a sacred and creative evening that blends sound healing, self-expression, and hands-on poetic creation in a safe, supportive space.

In this experiential art therapy class, we’ll begin by dropping into the body and heart through a gentle sound bath + reflective meditation.

From that space of stillness and awareness, we’ll move into our expressive medium for the night:

Blackout Poetry.

✨ What is Blackout Poetry?

Blackout poetry is a creative, intuitive process that uses existing pages of text (like old books or newspapers) and allows you to “black out” or obscure most of the words…highlighting only the few that speak to your soul. What emerges is an unexpected poem, a message from your subconscious, or a piece of found wisdom.
No writing or poetry experience needed…just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

💫 What You Can Expect:
• Guided sound healing meditation to ground and center
• Introduction to Blackout Poetry and gentle prompts to inspire you
• Space to create your own poetic piece using provided materials
• Optional open mic–style sharing of your poem (no pressure, only love)
• A warm, gentle tea service to close the evening in community

This is more than a class….it’s a ceremony of inner voice and artistic reflection.
